Talk to me about the print quality!All of my prints are scanned in ultra high resolution before being carefully checked to ensure the colors and fine details are just like the original. Then they are printed using the giclée process on rich acid-free paper whose textures also match those of the original art. This allows each print to be archival, long lasting and virtually indistinguishable from the original at a fraction of the cost!

How can I purchase original art?I tend to release originals in small collections on my website a few times per year. The days and times of these collection drops are announced in advance on my website and social media. If you are interested in early access to the collections, participate in secret sales or limited releases, I announce those opportunities via my newsletter, so I encourage you to sign up to take advantage of those perks! All original art will be made available here at sarahjohnstonstudio.com.

Do you accept commissions?I'm afraid I'm not currently accepting commissions. If this ever changes, I'll be sure to announce it through my website, newsletter and social media to help keep you posted!

How are the pieces shipped?Unless otherwise noted in an item's listing, all purchases are individually bagged and sent in a reinforced envelope or rolled and shipped in a tube (depending on the size of your item). Most artwork will ship via USPS or UPS standard shipping, and most packages arrive within 2-4 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking). International shipments will be sent via USPS or other carrier. International buyers, please note that shipping charges may vary from the amount you pay at checkout. If this is the case, you will receive an invoice via email regarding any additional cost. Please email me with questions or to get an estimate.

How soon will I get my order?Prints are produced once you submit your order. Expect your print to be its way to your door 2-4 business days after you place an order, and most domestic packages are delivered within another 2-4 days. You will receive an email notification once your order is in the mail with tracking info included. If you need a rush order, please email me directly and I'll see what I can do!

Can I return or exchange an item?Unfortunately, most sales are considered final and I will not accept returns or exchanges. So please read the descriptions carefully and make sure you feel confident about the size and color coordinating before placing your order.

What if my order arrives damaged? What if it is lost or stolen?I try very hard to take precautions to make sure that your artwork arrives in good condition, and I encourage you to handle your purchase with care when storing or framing it. But things happen and I'm a reasonable person, so if your artwork arrives damaged, email me directly and tell me what happened. Please include photos of the damage to the artwork and packaging. I'll be happy to work with you on a case by case basis. You may also be asked to file a claim with the shipping service that damaged your product. KEEP IN MIND: • I'm not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS or UPS, domestically or internationally), nor do I have power over how they handle packages or run their delivery service in the future. However, if it is apparent that the print was defective before/during packaging, I'll be very happy to replace it. Again, documentation of the damage will be a key factor in this process! • I'm not able to replace for free any prints or originals damaged after delivery, so please be mindful about how and where you are storing them. Handle the artwork with care when framing. • If your package tracking is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. I am unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. If your package is undeliverable to your address and it is automatically returned by the mail carrier to my studio, I can forward it to your correct address. Keep in mind that you will be responsible for the cost of the 2nd shipping. • Unfortunately, if you believe your package to have been lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally. There isn't anything I will be able to help with on my end, as I'm unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. I'm afraid I will not be able to replace for free items that have been not delivered, lost, or stolen.

Can I change my shipping address after placing my order?Sometimes! Usually, as long I get your address before your oder is shipped, I can update the address with no trouble. However, once it's actually in the mail, there's not much I can do. If the item is undeliverable at your old address and cannot be forwarded, it will usually be returned to my studio. In this case, I'll be happy to drop in the mail again to the correct address, but I will ask you to cover the cost of this 2nd shipping.
